National Whistleblower Appreciation Day
On National Whistleblower Appreciation Day, we recognize the courage of those who choose integrity over silence.
July 30 commemorates a remarkable moment in American history. In 1778, the Continental Congress unanimously passed what is considered the nation’s first whistleblower protection law, affirming the importance of reporting misconduct and holding organizations accountable.
Nearly 250 years later, that principle remains just as important.
Every organization benefits when employees feel safe speaking up about concerns, whether those concerns involve fraud, harassment, safety issues, or other misconduct. Creating a culture where people can raise concerns without fear is not just good compliance practice. It is fundamental to trust, accountability, and organizational integrity.
Today, Red Flag Reporting celebrates the individuals who have the courage to report concerns and the organizations committed to listening and responding appropriately.
Together, we can continue building workplaces where every voice matters. Contact us.
